Nick Nicholson won the Safety Director of the Year Award and it was presented to him at the May Chapter meeting for The Hamilton Niagara Fleet Safety Council.
The award is a new award that is given to a person that is not a driver but working hard to promote safety and hard work within their Chapter, their industry, and their personal lives. This is the first year for the non-driver award. Nick will be recognized at the Annual Fleet Safety Conference in October.
Nick Nicholson promotes safety in a number of ways from dedication to the Niagara Chapter, through his articles and blogs, and his tireless dedication to the transportation industry. Thank you Nick for all of your hard work.
The award winner was chosen through a systematic process by a small committee of Chapter members. The Selection Committee consisted of Bruce Outridge, Jim Campbell, Sheila Land, Vickie DeVos, Chris Harris, and Charlie Shields.
