At the November 13, 2017 Ontario Committee a member raised concern regarding the fact they have observed increased in incidents of altered Commercial Vehicle Operator’s Registration (CVOR) certificates in application for commercial automobile insurance.

IBC has discussed this with Ontario Ministry of Transportation (MTO) staff, who are willing to review industry concerns. MTO would like members to provide examples of altered CVOR certificates, along with details as to how they discovered the document was altered.

Please send documents by Wednesday, January 17th, 2018 via e-mail to Paul Harbottle, Director, Program Development and Evaluation Branch, Ministry of Transportation: paul.harbottle@ontario.ca .
