The Hamilton Chapter of the Fleet Safety Council held their first virtual meeting on April 30th, 2020 due to the Covid-19 Virus. The meeting was a trial run with just the Executive Committee in attendance discussing options for the future meetings and topic options. With in-person meetings being postponed for the near future chapters have had to find different ways to communicate with their members.
It was decided that the May and possibly June meeting will be virtual in nature and then a decision will be made for start up in the Fall. It was also decided that the May 2020 meeting scheduled for Thursday May 28, 2020 will be open to all members that wish to join virtually. IHSA Representative Brad Bird will send log in details to the membership with minutes and agendas for the meeting. If you can’t make the meeting but wish to have questions or concerns addressed please reach out to the executive committee by May 21st to have your questions included in the conversation. We hope to see you there.
