HFSC Talks Drug Clearinghouse at October Meeting

The Hamilton Niagara Fleet Safety Council Chapter had a good meeting yesterday as they talked about the Clearing House Program beginning in January 2020 in the United States. Branden Kearse of DriverCheck gave a great  presentation on how the program will work. You can learn more at www.drivercheck.ca

Other topics discussed at the meeting were new taxes for carriers in the U.S. industry standards for training, and new courses available through IHSA. www.ihsa.ca

Hamilton Niagara Fleet Safety Council Has Full House for September Meeting

The meeting was packed yesterday as the Hamilton Niagara Fleet Safety Council Chapter met for the first time after their Summer break. New Chair Person Vickie DeVos led the meeting with Vice Chair Brian Lemoine closing it after a successful presentation and discussion.

Topics discussed include a legal update from Jodi Burness, updates on the conference in October and information about nominations for the Ken Howell award. A presentation by Todd Moore of ISB Global services rounded out the meeting. It’s not too late to join the chapter and keep your workplace safe.

Hamilton Fleet Safety Council Meeting Votes in New Board for 2019-2020

The Hamilton Niagara Fleet Safety Council held its last meeting before the Summer break with their annual elections. The meeting covered a range of topics from new courses offered by IHSA to member news and conference information.

iMVR Presents Virtual Reality to Hamilton Chapter

At yesterday’s meeting the team at iMVR presented the latest training technology based on virtual reality.  Vickie DeVos, Harry Yoo, and James Wong offered demonstrations, information, and options for carriers and trainers to improve their training programs using this latest technology.
